This holiday season, we’re encouraging bakers, cooks and entertainers who share the love through the special foods they carefully prepare for those they love to heartfully add one more important “to-do” to their list: Enter our Dish Up the Love recipe contest. As the name of our recipe contest may hint, you’ll feel the warmth of the holiday season with every entry!


For every entry into our Dish up the Love recipe contest, Baker’s Secret®, Pyrex® and CorningWare® bakeware will donate $1.00 to Feeding America. Our hope is to get thousands and thousands of entries, making a real impact for families facing hunger across America!

Feeding America’s goal is to end hunger, with a little help from friends. We’re all for that, so friends, let’s do it!
Here are a few facts about hunger in America, and why Corelle Brands partnered with Feeding America to Dish Up the Love:
FACT: Hunger in America is a daily worry for 50 million people. That is 1 in every 6in the U.S. —including more than 1 in 5 children.

FACT: Feeding America has more than 200 member food banks throughout the country, supporting 61,000 agencies that address hunger in all forms.

FACT: Nearly 14 million children are estimated to be served by Feeding America, over 3 million of which are ages 5 and under, and another 3 million seniors age 65 or older.

FACT: In 2012, 5.1 percent of all U.S. households (6.2 million households) accessed emergency food from a food pantry or soup kitchen one or more times.

FACT: Feeding America provides emergency food assistance to an estimated 37 million low-income people annually, a 46 percent increase from 25 million since 2006.


Besides that special feeling you’ll get every time you submit a favorite recipe and the story behind it to help feed families across the country, you’ll also have a chance to win some fab prizes.

Helping pick the winners is Top Chef contestant Antonia Lofaso, best known for her role on Top Chef (season 4) and Top Chef: All Stars.

Antonia quickly has become one of America’s most loved chefs because of her feisty Italian personality and incredible culinary skills. As a single parent juggling a career as a celebrity chef and author (she recently re-released “The Busy Mom’s Cookbook” in paperback), she has a special appreciation for our Dish Up the Love Recipe Contest and the many families it will help. In fact, to kickoff Dish Up the Love, Antonia shared three of her family’s favorite recipes with you.

Antonia also has the important role of selecting one winning recipe and accompanying story for our Grand Prize—an all-expenses-paid trip for two to New York City for Valentine’s weekend. How’s that for dishing up some love?

The New York City Grand Prize includes:

• $400.00 per day spending money

Each contest entry and recipe is automatically entered to win one of four collections of our favorite Baker’s Secret, Pyrex and CorningWare products, valued at $110.00. Each week, for four weeks, a different winner will be randomly selected to win these products.
